The City of Salina and Friends of the River held a public presentation on the progress of the Smoky Hill River Renewal Project – Transportation Grant Phase.

The presentations by city staff and HDR Engineering, Inc., focused on project costs, schedule, bridges, aesthetics, and trails along the Old Smoky Hill River Channel.
Following the presentations, attendees were able to view maps of the project design in an “open house” format. Representatives from the City and HDR were also available to answer questions.
