The Friends of the River is committed to supporting our community and helping to make it a better place. We partner with other local organizations to host two community-wide clean ups each year, Spring Spruce Up and Fall Fix-Up. Clean-ups refresh spaces in our community with paint, improvements, and litter removal. On event days, the city public works department hosts a Free Landfill Day, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
