The Friends of the River Foundation strives to restore the natural channel of the Smoky Hill River to its role as an integral part of the aesthetic, recreational and economic life of Salina.

Calling for volunteers! Here’s a family-friendly opportunity to work alongside others who care about our community. There will be several projects including sprucing up individual homes, downtown planters, Oakdale Park sculptures, Smoky Hill River Channel, and Mounted Patrol landscaping.
